Halfmoon Lake lies less than five miles south of Keystone Heights, Florida, just off Highway 100. Keystone Heights is convenient for restaurants, shops, schools, and more.

Gainesville is approximately 30 miles away, with the Gainesville Regional Airport, Veterans Hospital, and the University of Florida.
